It is only 42 km north of Sylhet city on Sylhet Tambul road. The boundary of Jintapur upazila begins with the entry of Chikanagul Union of Jantapur Upazila of nature (only after crossing Jalalabad Cantonment). From here you will not be able to enjoy the natural beauty when you cross the road more than 20km. Distance from Sylhet city to Jintapur upazila is about 5 km. Only half a kilometer to the right when you come to Jantapur Bazaar you can come to the Upazila Parishad.
